With an unusually tight labor market and unemployment rates at historical lows, Tindall Corporation, a multimillion-dollar manufacturer of precast concrete products and systems, was constantly on the hunt to recruit production workers at their Spartanburg, South Carolina facility. Like many employers in the Upstate, their greatest challenge was getting their message out to potential applicants.
Infinity recommended posting an outdoor billboard on I-85, the busiest interstate near Tindall’s Spartanburg manufacturing facility. The creative concept for the billboard was clear, concise, and, most importantly, effective.
In the two months prior to posting the outdoor board, Tindall had a total of 140 submitted applications for production jobs at their Spartanburg plant. Within just two months after posting the billboard, 289 applicants had applied.
If a more than 100% increase in applications wasn’t enough, Tindall’s careers landing page also experienced a 53% increase in web traffic during the time period the billboard was posted. These marketing efforts drove 76% more new users to Tindall’s website. Thrilled with these impressive results, Tindall elected to renew the outdoor board to extend the campaign.
