For more than 45 years, Eldeco has been pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of electrical design, engineering, and construction. In 2019, they set out on a mission to apply that same innovative spirit to their company culture, internal processes, and growth. They called this new initiative One Eldeco, and after 18 months of hard work by their newly formed, cross-location leadership team, they were finally ready to unveil the movement to their five locations. There was just one problem — the pandemic. When COVID-19 effectively shut down the chance to share One Eldeco at their usual biannual conference, they needed to develop a new, social-distance-friendly alternative. They also needed to develop a multi-pronged campaign around One Eldeco that would help build curiosity and encourage adoption of the movement. That’s when Infinity came aboard to help bring their initiative to life in an unforgettable, yet safe, webcast event.
When the discussion of an event first began, Eldeco was disappointed that they wouldn’t be able to bring all their locations together for the big reveal. Infinity recommended an interactive, multi-location live webcast that would allow each location’s teams to gather safely and maintain social distance while tuning in to the main presentation.
To generate buzz and excitement about the upcoming event, Infinity developed a pre-event campaign that included multiple emails and a high-intensity teaser video. Each of these components featured powerful branding that took a unique spin on Eldeco’s typical standards, setting One Eldeco apart from other initiatives. Infinity also developed a compelling event video to kick off the webcast, the One Eldeco presentation, branded toolkits, and other support materials. Infinity team members were on-site to manage and execute the multi-location webcast at four destinations across the Southeast, including Birmingham, AL; Greenville, SC; Fort Mill, SC; and Charleston, SC.
With more than 200 employees tuned into the webcast, both in person at event locations and remotely, the One Eldeco event made a big impact on the Eldeco team. Infinity’s turnkey solution helped deliver a clear message that provided a powerful start to the company’s fundamental new strategic initiative.
