Fatz Southern Kitchen (formerly FATZ Cafe), a regional restaurant chain with locations around the Southeast, brought in Infinity Marketing to help increase the impact of their social media efforts. Specifically, Fatz wanted to grow their audience and increase activity on their Facebook page, generate interest in menu items, and encourage customers to interact with their content.
For the first phase of the solution, we focused primarily on Facebook and Yelp. The Facebook program utilized a comprehensive content calendar that extended the Fatz Southern Kitchen branding message and supported engagement with a wide range of content. This included promotional activities, menu items, and both local and community activities.
Menu items were highlighted in an innovative and inexpensive video campaign that featured social media posts from the voice of the food itself. The campaign, “Where the Food Speaks for Itself,” created humorous and engaging personalities for each dish that were presented as both graphic and video posts.
The campaign drove increases in engagement and was successful in increasing awareness and sales for limited-time menu items. In addition, the “Food Speaks” campaign won numerous awards from MarCom, AAF, the Communicator Awards, and the Telly Awards.
