What to Expect

The Data Analyst strategizes, builds and maintains Tableau dashboards, and reinforces internal processes and analytics best practices across departments.

We're Looking For

Your role will use data, data aggregation and visualization tools, and analytics best practices to turn data into visualizations that inform actionable insights and decision-making. You will be responsible for forming data strategy based on measurement objectives and building interactive dashboards in Tableau in a clear, concise, and digestible manner.

Job Functions

  • Create interactive and customized Tableau dashboards for key clients within the healthcare, financial, higher education, retail, and telecommunications industries
  • Develop internal Tableau reports to analyze media performance, credit management, and vendor compliance issues, and assist business services and HR departments with automating reporting efforts
  • Troubleshoot technical issues within existing dashboards and craft data strategies based on client goals and objectives
  • Work independently on end to end solutions, from data investigation to the final visual dashboard
  • Collaborate across the organization to build solutions that serve multiple departments
  • Bring best practices in data architecture and data visualization to the table
  • Design, develop and support data warehouses, dashboards, visualizations, data pipelines and reporting tools for operational and business impact data
  • Work directly with our data aggregation partner on data mapping and requests for data set additions or alterations


  • Must have drive and desire to enhance Tableau fundamental skills for internal and client purposes
  • Experience working in Tableau: 2+ years
  • Experience with visualizing data + dashboard design: 2+ years
  • Google Analytics or similar website analysis tools: 1+ years
  • Datawarehouse concepts: 1+ years
  • ETL: 1+ years
  • Organized, problem-solver, critical thinker
  • Deadline-driven and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access)
  • Understanding of paid and organic digital media
  • Understanding of SQL preferred
